Granbury Wine Walk 2016
I was asked to take photos at the 2016 Sip & Savor (April 28th) and Granbury’s Wine Walk (April 29th 30th). I want to thank Charles & Dominique Inge for recommending and then thank event chairperson Deborah Rollins for allowing me to wonder around and take some fun photos. This type of photography is not my favorite because there are no poses, it is catch as you can then edit what doesn’t work. In three days there were over 750 digital photos taken. In those there were many duplicates and some just not good enough to use, so the final that I selected were just over 150 and covered three days.
The 28th was the Sip & Save private gathering and art sale at the Inge estate and involved the setup and the evening features. Participants enjoyed exclusive chef prepared entrees tailored to the wine from one of the wine providers, live music, and opportunity to bid on local art. The evening was beautiful as were the surroundings.
The 29th and 30th involved the city of Granbury hosting vendors and visitors tasting wine, treats, and purchasing local crafts while touring the Historic Granbury Square with its friendly shops and neighbors. A truly unique experience for a city.
